Workflow

Step 1 - Concept Development

Once Die Cad Group, Inc. has been awarded a job, the customer data is entered into the system and assigned a job number.  The number will be used as an internal means of tracking from start to finish.  From there a 2D flowchart or strip layout is created and internally reviewed by the design team.  Once the drawing has been reviewed internally and any necessary changes have been made, the drawing is submitted to the customer for approval.

Step 2 - Design

Once the concept has been approved by the customer,  an internal kickoff meeting is held to discuss the customer requirements, standards and any concerns.  Once the meeting is the held the design is started.

Step 3 - Internal Review and Customer Approval

At appropriate stages of the design, internal reviews are planned and carried out.  The complete design team discusses the design looking for improvements.  After the design team is completely satisfied with the design it is then submitted to the customer for approval.

Step 4 - Detail

Upon customer approval Die Cad Group, Inc. will create a bill of material, pull die set, burnouts, wirecut steels and any other customer requirements.  Die Cad Group, Inc. also details complete any design if required by the customer.

Step 5 - Design Verification and Validation
